Booking A Portrait

+ I strive to make booking a portrait as straight forward as possible. After you have contacted me and agreed on plan of action and wait time.

+ Let me know what portrait size you would like to book in, a list of my portrait sizes and prices can be found on my commissions page. If you would like a different size please let me know and I can give you a quote.
Please let me know if you would like it framed as well, information for this service is also on the commissions page. 
If you need advice I am only too happy to help.

+ Reference photos: the more photos the better, this gives me more chance to get a feel for the character and spirit of your pet as this really helps me when I am drawing your portrait, I will be happy to offer guidance as to which photos would be suitable.

+ Waiting list times will be discussed when booking in your portrait.
If you are working to a deadline for example a Birthday gift or especially at Christmas time, then please let me know and I will do my very best to help, but please try to allow for as much time as possible.

+ When booking to secure your slot on the waiting list I require a 50% of the total bill, which can be paid by direct bank transfer, my banking details will be on your invoice.
​
+ Any amendments or alterations to the contract must be made in writing and must be agreed by both parties and are subject to the deposit, order and completion agreement and may be subject to additional charges and that the customer accepts full responsibiltiy for any additional costs.

+ There should be no amendments or alterations to the order from anyone other than the customer and I will not release the portrait to a third party without prior agreement and permission from the customer.
​
+ Amanda Luddington Fine Art will create a portrait that is as true to the selected photo as possible. That the customer agrees to accept the artists artistic style and interpretation of the photo.
 
+ The deposit will secure your place on my waiting list. I work on a first come first served basis and the deposit is none-refundable.
 
+ Once I begin your portrait I will send you progress photos and when the portrait is complete I will send you the final photo, for your approval.

+ I will require full payment on completion, portraits will only be dispatched once full payment has been recieved.
​
+ Portraits A3 and smaller will be posted in reinforced packaging, containing a flat box with lid. Inside will be your wrapped portrait which is mounted and has backing board (or framed if requested, no glass is sent in transit but a transparent surface for saftey) for protection, all sealed in a plastic sleeve. This will be wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon with a care card, a certificate of authenticty and my business card. This will be packed in a protective postal box for safe delivery.​
Portraits that are large or are internationally shipped will be packed in a cardboard tube and framing will not be permitted.
International shipping orders may be subject to customs fees upon arrival into your country.
